Video Podcasts series on India’s alternative healing modalities or practitioners

Wellness has played a key role in my life, and I consider myself lucky to be exposed to practices and methods, thanks to my living environment. I have always been encouraged to ask questions, and create a real, relatable, and applicable approach to wellness.

That this curiosity was rewarded with practical know-how turned it into something deeper and life- changing for me. Through my passion for fitness, and my dad’s rigorous Ironman training journey, I discovered that specialised preventive and curative bodywork – far beyond mere relaxation – plays a crucial role in athletic recovery, injury prevention, and performance enhancement! India’s rich heritage of traditional knowledge systems is known worldwide as treasured healing
systems. This sparked personal insight into various wellness approaches, some lesser known than the others but effective nonetheless. It set me on the path to unearth and champion diverse and powerful alternative healing modalities deeply rooted in our nation’s history of holistic medicine, Ayurveda, and Yoga.

This six-part video podcast series features unique alternative healing practices that have their origins in India but are available worldwide. While they may not all be mainstream, I hope to give these more visibility and get the word out to people looking for pain management, relief and healing through this series.
The interviewees, all renowned in their individual fields, were gracious enough to break it down to a young mind. These brilliant healers inspired me immensely. I hope this helps many others.
