- Why
Become a Wellness Whisperer
The journey of setting up the Wellness Council with my friends and taking it ahead on a letter platform like the Wellness Whisperer has naturally taught me a lot on the way. I want my experience to help you kick-start your Whisperer movement with ease. I have jotted down a few points that will stir your thoughts and help you chalk out your cool plan.
Parents, this will help you monitor your child’s initiative too!
I’m waiting to connect with you. Write to me and remember, you don’t have to do this alone.
Why become a
Wellness Whisperer
Take a five-minute break and think of the people you remember from your growing up days: The friend who shared his lunch with you, the teacher who heard you out, the stranger who picked let you go ahead in a line, a compliment which really made your year, or the kind words a classmate shared about you in an essay.
Small compliments and deeds leave a lasting memory and a lifelong impact… Wellness Whisperer can help you play this small but instrumental part in someone’s life!
Our process
BETTER WORLD BEGINS WITH YOU:
Mahatma Gandhi (the Father of our Nation) said: Be the
change you want to see in the world. All we have to do is change ourselves and we will have played a part in changing the world.
IN IT TOGETHER:
As students, we all go through the same things differently. Let’s come together and create an environment of support. Let’s make wellness a mission.
REAL-LIFE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE:
Be a leader with empathy. Even as a working professional,
entrepreneur or leader one day, you will be known for creating safe spaces not just organising events. Sow the seeds today.
LAB FOR LIFE SKILLS:
You are going to improve your organisation, communication and public speaking efficiency. Give wings to yourself and fly towards your highest potential.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
If you are able to change one heart, make one person feel better, you have created a positive ripple effect. The power of one is what wins the millions.
LEAVE A LEGACY:
Empires and businesses aside, leaving a powerful legacy of emotional intelligence is epic! Be an unforgettable jigsaw piece in the life of others!
COLLEGE APPLICATION:
Do it like you mean it, but flaunt it like you deserve it… Give your college application a genuine lift with a living, thriving activity that matters. Who knows, you’ll become a Wellness Whisperer in a new country!
Dear Parents and Mentors,
Start them young, they say! The generation today belongs to the digital era where they are exposed to the world at a fast pace. In this time, motivating them to take up an offline activity that exposes them to taking charge of their feelings, and spreading a movement that helps other children their age cope better will etch their growing mind with responsibility and confidence.
Students of all age groups face challenges in mental health, bullying, screen time, exam stress, peer pressure and maintaining a healthy lifestyle (with healing foods, the right sleep and support system). Wellness Whisperer attempts to be a sounding board on all these fronts. When they are in the eye of the storm, it helps them ground their own emotions, rise above this like a victorious phoenix and become a real- life inspiration to their friends, peers and faculty.
Students who work together improve their grades, as well as learn from their teammates. A common cause builds trust and community. They become leaders with purpose.
Animal Yoga poses/asanas for kids.
Introduces you to the age-old concepts of Yoga early on, improves flexibility, focus, and body awareness while making movement fun and engaging.
BENEFITS: Yoga is a sustainable life skill that boasts physical strength and mental clarity.
When a child takes charge of his emotions, and dives into self-growth practices early on, they grow
up to be more aware. You also heal when you help others. The collective aims to make every topic
under the wellness umbrella approachable and valid.
Here’s a video that emphasises the connection between a good diet and our mental wellbeing. It
talks about gut-brain axis and how what we eat contributes to our mood.
